What are tank monitors and how do they work?

Tank monitors are devices attached to the propane tank that simply read the percentage gauge and transmit the data to Gala Gas.

When your tank gauge reaches a certain level, usually about 20%, an alert will be sent to Gala Gas.

We will then either fill your tank or notify you of the percentage, based on how you choose to set up the monitor service.

How much do Tank Monitors cost?

Tank monitors lease for just $84 per year.

This lease charge covers the unit and monitoring fees.

If you are renting a Gala Gas tank, the monitor lease charge will be due in the same month as your annual tank rent, pro-rating the first year's monitor fee.
